How to Recite Surah Al-Rahman
Surah Ar-Rahman is often regarded as the ‘beauty of the Quran’, in accordance with a hadith: Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said, “Everything has an adornment, and the adornment of the Qur’an is Surah ar Rahman” [Bayhaqi in Shuab al Eiman]
The main theme of the Surah is giving manifestation and fruits to the attribution of Allah‘s mercy and grace, which is evident right from the beginning, till the very end.
Here are the instructions that one must follow in order to get maximum benefit.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU READ THEM AND UNDERSTAND THEM..
You must/should listen to Surah Al Rahman 3 times a day and this must be a translation by Sheik Abdul basit …and that the recitation must be in Arabic.
You should listen in peace and serenity and in a quiet room with your eyes closed, so that you can concentrate on what is being recited and have total concentration towards Allah (SWT).
Just before listening make sure that you have a glass of water near you, after finishing listening, take the glass and say “Allah ,Allah, Allah 3 times and then blow into the water and then drink the water “.
Do this for 7 days so that in total you have listened to Surah Al Rahman 21 times and have also drunk 21 glasses of water.
Please make sure that when you listen 3 times a day that these are separated through out the day ,so that it is better to do one in the morning ,late afternoon and evening and that you must have your eyes closed and full concentration when listening and not rushing around doing other things.
